Resetting does no good. Last post over a year ago. Tablet won't get past boot screen, and just freezes up with a static Acer logo.

if you are still able to enter recovery, you can try to download an image from Acer support website:

    http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers/4756;-;A1-810

    click on OS tab

you need to remember the version installed to match the one downloaded.

Unfortunately, I cannot get past the boot screen,so there are no options for an alternate boot selection, or restore function. Any to use the USB port to peek indide and see boot options? Thanks for the quick reply.

there isn't a solution using official tools.

unofficial ways can't be discussed here, sorry.

LOL, yeah, I've been there a few times. Actually discovered how to use the volume/power buttons to reveal other boot & restore options from a nice Acer video I caught a glimpse of. Did that and since none of those options revived it, I went ahead and wiped the drive to a factory restore version. Google backup is rebuilding most of my apps, etc. Hope I didn't lose too many docs, pics and vids, but at least I don't have to toss the tablet out. I actually think I may have had a virus lurking inside, because when I removed and looked at my micro sd card with my desktop pc, my virus scanner found and removed one. Never saw it while in the chrome/android environment; just a really slow tablet that eventually died. Thanks for the help.
