I was wondering if anyone else has expirienced or had random wireless disconnect issues with acer v3-771-6833 notebook.  I have tried 2 differnt brands of Routers (because we thought it might have been the wireless router) on my Charter Cable Modem.  There is also an iPad that is used on this same wireless router (home network).  We don't get disconnected from the wireless network from the iPad when the notebook loses connection.

I even returned my laptop to the store thinking that there was something wrong with the wireless adapter in it and traded it in for a NEW replacement (same model acer v3-771-6833  This time we installed a different internet security than last time, and even tried a different browser.  This time, I don't seem to be disconnecting as often but did a few times today.  If I wait the disconnection out, it will eventually find the wireless network again.  Very frustrating.

Yes. Same issue. Have to re-start to connect. If I wait I just wait and it doesn't find the network. Can't even get it to show other networks nearby during that time. Re-start and it's fine for a while. Happened three times yesterday and twice today.

My Acer V3-771 i7-3630QM did also fall out some times. After some days I put the router about 50 cm higher on the wall (higher is better)and put a piece aluminium folie on the backside to strengten the signal, I have full signal on my pc. It is about 14 m. between the router and pc and 2 doors an walls.

What driver version are you running?

For Windows 8, please upgrade to v10.0.0.217 v3.

    Tommy,

I am still having this trouble with the wi-fi adaptor being "disabled" and going through steps to reconnect. Comes and goes but happens enough to be a problem I can't deal with. Am looking into options to either return my laptop or get this fixed. Any suggestions other than drivers? I am running the suggested drivers noted.

     Please let me know.

     Thanks!!

Unfortunately, I do not have any additional information for you.

We have two drivers posted for the unit .75 and .217 v3.

I understand that there is another version being validated, but I do not have any additional information on it.
