Intel rapid storage stopping on aspire v3-571
So recently my intel rapid storage technology driver has stopped multiple times and has crashed my computer even more times still. Everything freezing at random and then going to the blue screen with the "Kernal_data" message error. I have a flag in my action center saying that the technology driver has stopped but it gives no way to really fix it, so I came here. Any help would be appreciated, especially if I can fix it without getting rid of everything on my laptop. Thank you.

Nope, it's compatible from windows 7 and up.
Probably you need an older version than the one i posted.

I can try, but because I am not too familiar with any of it does it matter which version of it that I instal? If so which one would be best for my laptop?

So I found out that my rapid storage driver is an older version (11.5.0.1207) which was apparently discontinued because of memory leakage. I am really sorry to ask but I am sort of begging you guys for help because I dont want to mess up my laptop by accident by doing the wrong thing. So if it is possible could someone please explain to me how to reinstall that driver? The Intel page isn't very helpful and I cant find anything on it in my google searches.0

download it from here:

unzip the file and run the setup.exe and just follow onscreen instructions, nothing else.

It just told me that the setup program ended prematurely because my platform was not supported. Is it because I dont have windows 8.1?

That seemed to work! I mean I am not sure if it will stop or act up in the future but for now it seems to be preforming way better than the previous driver did so already that is an improvement. This was my only real computer so thank you so much for your help!
