No network adapter after windows 7 clean install
Hi,
Aspire 5560
I did a clean install of Win 7 (from a disk i have. Not form Acer)
No network device (Lan or Wi-Fi)
No Unknow device
What is appening?

i would try to install drivers even if no device is visible on device manager.
on device manager have you tried to select "show hidden devices" under View tab?

All the drivers are there but no network adapter...

if your laptop has a switch of button to turn ON/OFF wifi, have you tried to use it?
i would try to run a live Ubuntu CD and check if wifi or ethernet adapter is recognised.

I try Ubuntu and... no network
No ethernet
No Wi-Fi
No devices
I am realy lost here.
Befor I reinstall it was working fine ( Wi-Fi and ethernet)

have you installed the AMD VGA drivers?
they contains chipset drivers too and this can help to recognise ethernet and wifi chips:

Still Nothing...
I also try the recovery disks I made 5 years ego and still nothing...
