Size of the different predefined partitions - Aspire 5750G
Hello there!
I had data on a partition with prefix D (total partitions by prefix: C (OS, Windows 7), D (extra storage), Q (OS recovery partition)). I deleted all the partitions and the entire hard drive was formatted and one new partition was created (C-drive). Is there any way of recovering the data which was on the D-drive?
I have used piriforms recuva and it doesnt find the files that existed in the D-drive.
I have read that it might be possible if you recreate the partitions exactly as they were before and then perhaps use a data recovery program (piriforms recuva). If this is possible I would love to know the exact size of the partitions or if anyone has any other suggestion.
Thank you!

This free tool seems to be popular amoung the sites I looked at.

I think if this one can't find the partitions, you may be out of luck.
You can go here and put in your serial number and see how much they want for Recovey disks.
One for a V5-551 only cost me $20.00.
