Scratch at the very back of my desktop

Hi guys,

Earlier tonight I was taking off a seal so I had to use a screw driver. It was just to get the HDMI seal off. (turns out its empty only have one.)  Anyway while doing that I managed to run the screw driver over and now there are about 3 little scratches on the metal case. Outside of the desktop, where the USBS and keyboard and mouse goes.

I am a bit picky and have OCD at times and I am wondering will this affect the desktop in anyway. It's working at the moment. The scratches are at the very back of the desktop they are not inside, just outside.

The image is blurry about that's where I am talking about? (over the HDMI logo text)

Any advice would be appericiated

don't worry, that scratches will not hurt your desktop, they will just remember you to handle carefully screwdrivers. Smiley Happy

Ah okay thanks for the reply. I only asked because I have no idea what's behind that case but no doubt its protecting it.My purpose was because I am wanting another monitor and I thought there was a second HDMI slot but only DMI left, currently have first monitor connected to the HDMI already.

I just thought those scratches could affect the peformance

    Nope.
That plate is a template to better insert mainboard connections and protect it.

So no scratch can hurt your desktop.
