Aspire E5 Recovery Mgmt Post Windows 10 Upgrade

I read a lot about the recovery stuff after upgrading to Windows 10 but I have not seen what I'm looking for.

What happens to the Acer Recovery Management utility after you upgrade to Windows 10? It is still on my system, and it still gives me the choice to Create Factory Default Backup. If I choose this option, does it create a recovery media with Windows 10 files, or the original Windows 8.1 that came with this laptop?

Acer recovery management, it's not available after windows 10 update, so it's better to create the recovery media before updating to windows 10.

even if Acer recovery will be available after windows 10 update, the media created will be windows 8.1 based; since the factory recovery partition is based on 8.1

Ok thanks. I'll run the recovery media creation on another media with the hope it gives me the option to delete the recovery partition again, and get that 15GB of space back.

That said you can still create a recovery flash and save a full system image backup under Win10, it's just under File History now.
