Aspire T3-605

P/N DTSPYAA003

Bios P11-A0

Power Supply FSP500-50AAGA

OS Win 10

I have a EVGA GeForce 8400 GS DDR3 laying around and thought I'd plug it in. But there seems to be no onboard graphics disable ability in the bios. Nothing for graphics in integrated Peripherals.

So I put the card in and fired it up. But I got no screen. Removed the card and went back to the Intel card. Any suggestions?

Thanks Shawn

Connect. Go to Device Manager>Display Adapter and see if both show up. Try disabling the one you do not want to use. Can also try Win-P and see if both are there.

When I connect to the dock, it has its own display adapter and both show up.

  • Hello shaw,

    1. Connect the monitor to the onboard port (Intel HD Graphic controller)
    2. Uninstall the EVGA driver and restart the desktop
    3. Uninstal the Intel graphic driver and restart the desktop
    4. Restart the desktop
    5. When you see the Acer logo, press [Delete] to enter in the bios setup utility
    6. Disabled Secure boot in the Authentication tab and Save & exit setup
    7. The desktop restart automatically. Windows will detect the new graphic board.
    8. etc
