W700 Leather case velcro durability

I've only had the W700 for a month now, but already the velcro on the small flap of the leather case is worn out. The flap will no longer stay closed. Smiley Frustrated

Anyone else having the same problem?

Yeah, but I'm actively using that flap - about twice a day. If 60 openings is all it can handle before being used up, then acer should have designed it differently.

I agree, they could have used magnet or a button that clicks in :/ But, there is already a new case out on ebay wich might fit you better Smiley Happy

Yeah, I've seen that case. But, you know what? I like the stock acer case. I like it a lot. It has more flexibility in terms of view angles and positions than the ebay one or even the new acer keyboard-case for that matter.

I don't use the supplied dock at all. As long as one don't need the extra usb-ports its far more practical to just keep it in the leather case. And I really, really like the small flip on the back which puts the tablet into writing position.

Only downside - the poor quality of the velcro (or whatever its proper name is).

I barely use my dock either, the case is much more portable and has more positions Smiley Happy
Yes the ebay on only has 1 position :/
Maybe you can attach a small magnet with som super glue?Smiley Happy Or a button that clicks in, you know like the ones on a winter jacket or similar, I think Imma give it a try someday Smiley Happy
