Hello, I did the last update of my phone Acer Liquid Jade S56 to Android 5.1,

with build number Acer_AV0L0_S56_1.009.00_EMEA_GEN1.

I strongly believe this update is not ARM 64-bit enabled. I connected my phone to computer

and did adb shell getprops which returned:

[ro.product.board]: [Jade-S]
[ro.product.brand]: [acer]
[ro.product.cpu.abi2]: [armeabi]
[ro.product.cpu.abi]: [armeabi-v7a]
[ro.product.cpu.abilist32]: [armeabi-v7a,armeabi]
[ro.product.cpu.abilist64]: []                  <- NO 64-BIT SUPPORT
[ro.product.cpu.abilist]: [armeabi-v7a,armeabi]
[ro.product.device]: [acer_S56]

If that is the case, then it defeats the purpose of

paying for a 64-bit device and running it in only 32-bit mode.

Are you planning to fix this?

Was the past roms 64bit enabled?

i' not sure they ever enabled 64bit support on a 2GB ram device.

Also I know other devices (I don't want to do advertising) with Snapdragon 615 and 2GB ram that runs Android 5.0 (64 bit)

Yes, the Intel platform has the 64bit.
On Acer Mediatek devices, not quite sure.
