Member Posts: 18 New User

Hello,
My device V3-571G came with windows 8 but I don't know why its not qualify
for windows 10 update. Devices came before V3-571G release listed in acer
windows 10 update eligible list.I am getting popup notification from
windows update which I already reserved. Pls advice,

Will acer ComfyView IPS FHD features work if i upgrade to windows 10?

Thanks

to get windows 10 from windows 8 you need to go to the store and upgrade to windows 8.1 first then get all of windows 8.1 updates then upgrade to windows 10

Should  I revert to windows 8.1 to check kb3035583?

If I revert, Will microsoft allow me to upgrade to windows 10 again?

Yes, you can upgrade after reverting. I did it a machine fairly early on.

Reverted to 8.1,(took 10 minutes without any issues) on the view updated history list, kb3035583
installed successfully as a recommended update on 12-07-2015.
also kb3035583 installed as a optional on 29-3-2015.
Checking recent updates there is only one optional update is upgrade to windows 10 home single language.
