Touchpad is not working after unpluged a USB drive (BlackBerry)

The touchpad does not work after I unplugged a USB drive (Blackberry phone as USB drive) on My Acer Aspire V5-471P. I tried to uninstall Synaptics touchpad driver, downloaded the driver from Acer website, and installed the driver, but it still did not work.

According to device manager, the device is working properly and there is no resource (IRQ) conflict.

I still can use my mouse. But this is annoying.

    yikes,

Have you checked for recent restore points, if there is one that is very recent you can go to it when it was working right and go forward.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. I can't see the restore point. Only two restore points displayed, and not the date I unplugged USB. But several days ago, my wife turn on my laptop, and guess what, the touchpad is working again. Don't know how, and why. Thanks.
