Hello community, First post here, I have recently purchased a couple of new E-series Acer laptops for some friends in the market and have been overall very satisfied with the quality and performance, hence in my search for a new laptop have found an Acer Nitro that I am interested in purchasing.  However, the specs that the vendor (QVC) list vary slightly from the specs listed on the official Acer website.

The model is VN7-791G-76GA

and here is my confusion...

QVC states the GTX960M gpu is 4gb dedicated memory,

while Acer states the specs to have 2gb dedicated but still the 960M.

I contacted QVC before placing an order to confirm and the rep on the phone did say that it was in fact 4gb gpu memory.

Can anyone help clarify to me if there are two versions of this model with varying amounts of gpu memory?

Thank you in advance for reading and contributing what you can.

Regards,

Eli

    Thank you Acer-Justin,

I had a feeling that trusting the Manufacturer website was my best bet since an online vendor, especially one that deals in such a wide variety of products, was liable to misrepresent a product.  Being that 4gb of dedicated VRAM was one of my requirements in a new notebook I did end up ordering another model with confirmed specs.  Thank you so much for your time it is greatly appreciated.  I do also hope that this information is helpful to others who are also shopping for a new notebook.

    Regards,

    -Eli
