Hi i've been encountering this problem for a couple days but i dont really know how to fix it.
The screen is flickering black sometimes and then it goes back normal for a while and then it keeps on flickering again.
Anyone else encountered this problem/ or anyone suggestions on how to fix it?

You can do a quick check, if it flickers even connected to an external monitor or TV.

if not, probably is the laptop monitor, try to move up and down and check if this stop flickering or gently press the monitor frame.

if it flickers even on the external monitor, can be worth a try to re-install the VGA drive.

choose your OS and install the Intel VGA driver.

if both methods fail, give Acer support service a call.

    Try this:

    http://www.thewindowsclub.com/stop-windows-7-from-installing-drivers-automatically

this will prevent windows to install updated drivers without asking, this will be very usefull since, sometimes it installs buggy drivers, link Intel VGA infamous black screen.

    then

go to device manager, right click on your VGA adapter and choose uninstall, click also to uninstall software if asked.

re-install drivers from the previous link.
