Windows 10 on Aspire R7 - onscreen keyboard keeps popping up, can't disable
Using an Acer Aspire R7-571, just upgraded to Windows 10
Even though:
* I've disabled the setting that seems to pertain to this
* I have the machine in its laptop arrangement - keyboard is very much accessible, screen up like a laptop
Every time I tap on my touchscreen in any kind of textbox, the on-screen keyboard appears, it's giant, and very in the way. It goes away once I hit a key, although often that's not why I'm tapping - I'm often tapping to select some text, for example, and often the keyboard gets in the way. Worst-case the next thing I do is accidentally hit a key on it wiping out the text I was trying to copy.
This annoyance is constant and includes right now while trying to type here. Screenshot attached.

b9chris,
It sounds like the digitizer drivers might be having a problem. Try removing them and having Windows install them again and see if that fixes the issue.
