Supported SD Cards for A1-830???

Howdy,

Could someone please direct me in the right direction for a list of supported/ compatible SD cards for the Acer Iconia A1-830?

My 32 gb Kingston worked fine until the tablet was restarted hours later and it's no longer recognising it at all - the card works fine in other electronics.

My 32 gb Sony is recognised, but it's not supported.

Both have been reformatted to fat32. One of the largest selling points is the expandable memory, and I'm totally disappointed in reading that there are only a limited number of cards that will work.

Any other suggestions would be great.

Tnx.

the only reference i can find is:

Micro SD card slot, up to 32GB, SDHC 2.0 compatible

    I'm not an Acer employee.

Yeah, that's what sold me on the tablet. I've had it for about a year now and am only looking to add storage now. I came across this and if there's no such list for the A1-830, it would be nice to get confirmation that the same cards for the A500/501 would work before I go spending $$... http://acer-au.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/12492/%20=/compatible-sd-cards-for-acer-android-tablet

    I had the same problem.

    Try:

    1) Switch the device off.

    2) Remove SD card.

    3) Turn it back on.

    4) When rebooted insert the SD card.

It seemed that it wouldn't recognise the existence of the SD card drive (it's probably absent if you look under storage) if rebooted with the SD card inserted, although mine reboots fine now, the problem has cleared.

yeah, i read that worked for several people, but i tried it with all my cards with no luck, thanks anyway. i caved and purchased a 32 gb sandisk. i'll report back on how it goes. (really hope it's not a hardware issue.)
