How do I remove the blank PCI brackets at the back of the case?
I wished to add a discrete PCI sound card into the PCI slot.

After you remove the clip, the screws will be exposed/visible.

i don't have a TC-605 but normally there's a little screw on the PCI bracket, unscrew that and took it off.

Second photo was great! Got that in an instant.
No screws (yet) but it exposed a foil like blank over all four brackets.
The particular blank had to be knocked out to make room for a new PCI card. Then one can screw this card/bracket in.
Thanks all.

ok great. Maybe there isn't any actual screws? Could have been my imagination. They would have been on the outside (back of case).

May you please repost those two pictures. They are not showing and I have the same problem with removing the pci slots.

After you open the latch, they are just held on by a very thin thread(s) of metal. Gently apply pressure and wiggle a little bit and it should come off. I just used my finger and thumb. I can't post picture because Acer/Lithium has blocked me from posting any more pictures for 24 hours. Apparently there is a limit or I need to be taking that as a hint.
If you have trouble, you can google for pictures or how to remove PCI expansion slot cover.
