• Is the adapter connection snug inside the charging port when plugged in?
• If it is loose, that is a sign that the pin inside is most likely defective and will need to get resoldered to the motherboard.
• If it is snug, does the battery charging light illuminate while the notebook is powered off and plugged in?
• If not, the adapter is most likely defective and needs to be replaced.
