Aspire E5-572G Wireless issues

Hi, I just purchased an Aspire E5-572G and I have serious problems with Wireless connectivity. In the study room where Samsung S5, S3 mini, roku and asus 10" have no problems with wireless access, this Aspire E5-572G with 15.3" screen, which i believe should have the strongest signal out of all my devices, is loosing connectivity every single 5 minutes and from time to time it shows limited access.

Is it such a bad wifi card acer is using or it might be a driver issue?

The driver should be updated, I bought and installed the win 8.1 OS 2 weeks ago.

PS my wifi card is Broadcom 802.11n

    Robert_A,

When you say you bought and installed Windows 8.1 operating system two weeks ago, do you mean the notebook itself was purchased two weeks ago? From what I can tell, this system shipped with Windows 8.1 on it already, did you upgrade to something other than what shipped?

    Hi,

The laptop was shipped with win 8.1. I didn't upgrade the system, it installed automatically the OS and drivers.

    Robert_A,

It sounds like you didn't have connectivity issues before the updates installed, if you want to try a system restore to before the updates and go forward from there. A bad update installation can cause things like to to happen from time to time.
