Bluetooth suddenly disappeared

I have a Switch 10 running Windows 8.1 A couple of days ago I was watching Netflix with audio through a bluetooth connected speaker. All of a sudden the audio switch to the internal Switch speakers. Bluetooth is no longer listed in Device Manager or PC settings. It is as if it didn't exist. I used device manager to scan for hardware changes but nothing found. Anyone seen this and have a remedy?

Fairly weird occurrence, did you check the batteries in the BT speakers by chance?

I would suggest possibly looking at what was done that day, such as Windows updates. You could possibly perform a system restore to before any were installed before that happened, it could be a corrupt install.

If your BT hardware (on the notebook) is still listed in the device manager, you can uninstall and install the drivers again to see if that resolves it.
