The cursor on my Acer 5349 is frozen. (I think my dog stepped on the keyboard.) Help!

I've rebooted and done a system restore, but no luck.  The user manual I have does not address this issue, and I'm no longer under warranty.  Can anyone here help?

Thanks,

Nancy

Try pressing the FN key + the 7 key. This toggles the trackpad on/off. My trackpad had a freezing problem most of the time so I bought a wireless trackball instead. Much better than using the trackpad. I recommend the Logitech® Wireless Trackball M570.
