hi there,

i have an Aspire at3 600 ur11, and have an oem FSP 300watt psu, with a max of 22.0A on the +12v rail combined.

(+12v1, 8.0Amps) (+12v2, 14.0Amps)

i dont want to fry my psu, and dont have much money to dish out for a new psu.

the salesman at Canada Computers didnt know if it would work, so he told me to check on the acer website.

My choices:

    Hello,

On the EVGA website, they recommend a 300 Watt minimum power supply for both models that you stated.

I advise you to calculate the total power with the Enermax PSU calculator (very complete).

Let us know if you decide to try the card and it works. I think you're looking at the older 1GB card though. The newer 2GB card can be found here:

Not sure about Canadian/US dollar conversion. You don't want the FTW version as that one requires a better power supply.
    I'm not an Acer employee.

    Hi again,

Thanks for the replies..... I received the card today and installed it, it actually works fine (medium to high graphics) GTA5, no probs, whatsoever.

THE PSU CAN HANDLE IT, well made by acer.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Good news! For information, your PSU is FSP (Fortron OEM).
