VN7-791 Nitro Dustdefender triggering under Win7

Hello! Recently bought the VN7 for my wife though she hates W8 so it's time for a rollback... It's clear the most of the drivers are W7-compatible (though the USB3.0 one isn't there so should be downloaded from Intel website instead), yet still no idea how to use the Dustdefender feature. The app will not start under W7, and there seems to be no additional driver for the thing. Is there any way to trigger the cleaning sequence, by either a Win7-compatible software or at least a DLL call (if there is no other way, I could try writing something myself)?

You may try to download the Acer quick access from this weblink  Acer windows tools

The Acer DustDefender application prevents dust from accumulating inside the system. The fan briefly reverses every 3 hours to flush out dust, enabling the components to stay cool, perform better, and last longer. This application is enabled by default in windows 8.1 You can manually run Acer DustDefender via the Acer Quick Access application.

Still a red light Smiley Sad "Your OS is unsupported". As for the DD feature, I know what it is, yet no idea if it's controlled via BIOS firmware if no OS-side app is installed, so my guess it will not work at all if no software is installed. Could you please point if there is any way to force it via a DLL call if no app was ever written for Win7? Writing a simple (or not) call is no hard work, although I'm not much of a PC programmer I had some experience writing an SPI bus support via an external bridge circuit so doubt this one could get any worse, could share it as well should anyone need it.
