Acer e5 572g 840m bluescreen

I am the owner of two acer e5-572g with same characteristics. One is manufactured about 2 months later and the second seems like an updated version because the motherboard is not structured in exactly the same way.

I used the updated model on windows 7 no problem. But on the older version when i try to run 840m graphics card i get bluescreen when using the same HDD between the two laptops or when installing a fresh copy of w7. I have no problem on windows 8. Why would i get that issue on w7 and only on one of the two laptops?

Seems like having difficulty between switching graphics cars.

are you able to post the BSOD error?

ora can you run whocrashed and check what's crashing?

    This is what whocrashed says

On Sat 25/4/2015 1:24:37 μμ GMT your computer crashed
    crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\042515-19375-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: nvlddmkm.sys (nvlddmkm+0x1583EC)
    Bugcheck code: 0x116 (0xFFFFFA8009C704E0, 0xFFFFF8800F2383EC, 0x0, 0x2)
    Error: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR
    file path: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\nvlddmkm.sys
product: NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 345.05
    company: NVIDIA Corporation
description: NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 345.05
Bug check description: This indicates that an attempt to reset the display driver and recover from a timeout failed.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: nvlddmkm.sys (NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 345.05 , NVIDIA Corporation).
    Google query: NVIDIA Corporation VIDEO_TDR_ERROR

I've experience this before and when I troubleshooted it it shows that HDD or SSD has the problem.

i would update the nVidia drivers a new version is available 350.12

    http://www.geforce.com/drivers

then check again if BSOD appers, if so....can be a specific issue on that laptop.

Updated bios from 1.02 to 1.03. Issue seems resolved.
