    Check this:
    Ctrl-Alt-Del to load Task Manager
Scroll down and look under Background Processes to find 'Intel(r) Technology Access Service'
Right click and choose 'End Task'.

It started two days ago. Since I posted  my message I reinstaled audio driver (from Acer's website).

At first it seemed to work fine but after few songs I listened to, the buzzing is back.

I just find out that it has to do something with mouse. Every time I move the mouse it makes buzz.

Any idea how to fix it?

    Thank you!

You are the-man-of-the-day! My touchpad is alive again. Hope Acer or Microsoft or I don't care who to resolve this issue with a patch.

    It works! Thank you!

Is this permanent solution or I have to do it every time I turn on my laptop?

to have it permanent, you must edit service at startup

    on windows 8

press windows key logo + r

    type

    msconfig

    go to service tab

    Untick Intel(R) Technology Access Service

    Apply

    OK

    Restart

This package installs the software (Intel(R) Technology Access) to enable the following device.

    • Intel(R) ME RNDIS Ethernet Adapter

I had a similar problem with my Aspire E13. After Win8.1 updated itself, trackpad operation became very erratic (almost impossible to use) and it interferred with audio (buzzing and distortion). The machine appeared to have the latest drivers so I've been searching the web for possible solutions. This is it!

I'm now only a tad concerned that ethernet will not work (if I ever want to use a wired network connection) without reinstating the service.

Anyhow, many thanks for the tip – I'm sure it will help others also.

Thanks so much. The mouse, static noise problem was driving me crazy. Doing the end task on Intel Technology Access service fixed it right away. However I do use a wired ethernet connection and am worried deleteing it or permanently disabling it will prevent me from getting online. Amny thoughts, helpo would be great appreciated.
