Is it possible to enable secure boot in Windows 8.1 on an Acer Aspire v3-771g?

I can't seem to find a way. Is it not possible on this machine?

I had already looked at the bios and I do not see secure boot under the boot menu. Is there a way to get it?

Not in my options using that method. Is there a way to get the BIOS or whatever I need to provide that secure boot for this machine?

it's an old version, try to update to 1.15:

there's also a 2.28 version but i think this is for V3-771g with windows 8 from factory, not for updates.

Thanks for the tip on the BIOS Update. I had seen that earlier but didn't know if I should use the later 2.xx version. Then I did more searching and saw where an Acer Tech wrote that there should be no crossover between 1.xx and 2.xx. So I did get 1.15 but still no secure boot. So I guess that will wait for another machine.
