WiFi connexion with some intermittency issues on laptop...
Tinkerer
Good morning, and thank you in advance for your assistance which will be really helpful !
I bought an Acer Aspire E5-571G-5303 (december 14)
Very nice machine, acceptable configurations (i5, 4GB, graphic card supporting games like Starcraft or FIFA)
But like any machine that respects itself, nothing can work perfectly the first time !!!
The wireless connection is intermittent, nay failed.
I am located 10 meters from my Web Box (Livebox by Orange in France), a wall separates my desktop from it (and the problem occurs even when the door is open)
- Normally, the wifi connection is acceptable: 3 and 4/5 "connection bars"
- And from time to time the connection is cut (message "limited connection").
- I have to turn off and on wifi (and reconnection is not always automatic)
So, I was wondering how to fix this.
The drivers are up to date (Ma-config.com website ) yet, I feel that it comes from elsewhere, ... but where ? ^^
In short ... again thank you in advance for your help.
Have a great day!

Hi.. have been having same off and on.. so this is what a lot of us have done and hope it works for you...
unplug device and remove battery.. hit the start key a few times rapidly.. plug in and replace battery and restart.. run a scan for Malware and Virsus... clear your memory and cache when you are done and restart your system..
go into device manager and update the devices.. look to see when last major update was done...
if you have additional questions.. please let us know..
hope this helps

What do you mean by "clear the memory adn the cache" ? Using a software like CCleaner ? Or here is another way ?
Thank you in advance !
