    Hello,

You can contact Crucial by email and ask them if it's compatible.

If you prefer one of p/n indicated in my last reply, I can give you the brand p/n.

  • Hello,

Your netbook supports up to 1Gb-1333MHz of memory and works under Windows 7 Starter.

    Look at the Kingston webside.

Could you give me the first ten characters of the laptop serial number (S/N)? Only the first ten to confirm that.

    Note:

    P/N: LU.SGD0D.011

    Model: Aspire One D270-1679

    OS: Windows 7 Starter - 32 bits

Only 1gb? Sure? there isn't a way to make an upgrade to 2gb? even with ram 1066?
  • Oups! There is a mistake on the Kingston website.

You are right, it supports up to 2Gb - 800MHz in single channel (1600/2).

    You have actually 1Gb - 1066MHz (1066/2=533).

You need 1066 RAM. 2 gigs is ok.

  • I know this is months old, I am now I see it says solved but my question is did you do the change?

I have 3 Aspire Ones, A 255, 255E and a 257 that I installed 2 gig sticks in. The Reason I ask is because I bought the 270 for my Sister-In-Law and I was asked to also do the upgrade to her computer. Seeing I Drop Shipped the computer I haven't seen it. So I was just wondering if it was going to the be same install? I have even had to replace the screen on the 255E once so I have found these to be rather easy to change out.  I assume that it is the same so I bought the Ram for her computer already and when we go to Visit a couple of weeks from now I was going to make the upgrade.

    Thanks for any Info
