    Can I upgrade my ASPIRE 5315 to Windows 7 and install more hard drive and ram greater than 1 gig? Will the motherboard handle it.

      It should run Windows 7 just fine.

      It looks like you can upgrade the memory to 2GB. I did see where someone says he put a 2gb in the second slot for a total of 3GB. As cheap as DDR2-667, PC2-5300 is I would probably try it.

      You shouldn't have any problem installing a larger HDD or a SSD.
