Bluetooth device showing as paired on Acer E5-571 but not on device

Hi just bought a new Acer E5 571 with Windows 8.1 The laptop paired to my bluetooth speaker quickly and with no problem.

However the next time I turned on my laptop it showed as blutooth device paired when it wasn't. itunes only played through the laptop speaker and I have to disconnect and re-pair the bluetooth and deactivate the laptop speaker to get itunes to play through bluetooth every time.

Any idea if this is a recognised fault or some incompatibility between my laptop and LG bluetooth soundbar?

Thanks in advance

    iam_01,

Is this the only BT device that you are having problems with or are you having problems with other BT devices connected to this system?

It could be a compatibility issue, or if the soundbar is paired with something else (TV for example) it might be connecting to that connection when the notebook is not in range or powered on.

Thanks for your response. I've found my specific BT device connection window which I couldn't find before and have it pinned to my menu bar. Now whenever I want to listen to music I re activate the connection without having to re-pair the device. Still finding my way round windows 8.1:-)
