How do I install Linux on Switch 10?

As the title says, how do i go about installing Linux on my switch 10(sw5-012-153l)? Would the traditional method of booting from a Usb PD really work?I ask because i searched around on the net and ppl are reporting that it isn't quite as simple as that.Furthermore,i read that there could be problems with touch screen and keyboard(the dock) functionality due to lack of drivers.

I was thinking of installing either elementary os(the freya beta) or evolve OS,i don't know about elementary but evolve explicitly says that it only functions on amd64 processors(64 bit),so can the bay trail SoC in my switch run it?

can someone help me go about installing elementary on my switch(i don't have much hope for evolve)......

it's a pain to install Linux on Switch10, i suggest you to don't do it.

    I'm not an Acer employee.

In addition to the issues you would see with drivers for the touchscreen and keyboard you would also run into problems with overheating, at least until robust drivers for the chipset are available. I also don't think Linux is a good choice for the Switch yet. Wait until the Linux folks have everything ready...

You might be able to use with Hyper-V but would be marginal with 2GB. OTOH Windows 8.1 will be running underneath for throttling and you will have a way to recover if things go wonkey.
