Acerv5-471g wifi disable not enable.

Hi everyone,

i got dual boot both ubuntu and window 8.1.

After i change my wifi card and when i login to window it's disable and can't enable no matter what i do,

but on ubuntu it's work.

Have you tried FN=F3 keys? That doesn't work?

Go to Device Manager/Network Adapters and right click on the wifi adapter, choose enable.

i try all those method and it still doesn't work. but i wonder why it's work on ubuntu but not in window.

There are a lot of 8.1 drivers that are buggie. A lot of people are having trouble with Wifi because of 8.1 drivers. Try uninstalling the Wifi driver in Programs and Features, Device Manager, checking delete software and then reinstall the driver.

You should also be able to reinstall the driver from recovery.

my computer don't have acer recovery manager and the download file only support win7. so where i can download it.

Ubuntu found a Linux driver that worked.

Acer driver page for V5-471g has 8.1 drivers.
