My charger is plugged in my tablet and it says its charging but the percentage won't rise...know why

My charger is plugged into my tablet and its says its charging but the percentage wont rise and ive tried a new charger and tried to charge it for 24 hours but still nothing...i also need to plugg in the charger to use it and still when i turn the screen off or the tablet off it says its charging but the percentage never rises please help!!!

    What percentage is it showing? As suggested it's likely the battery, but it is possible the problem is in the charging circuit instead.

    This issue seems to be with internal battery.

    What is the model number of your tablet?

    That's pretty close to what you'd expect with a failed or disconnected battery. If you are comfortable in tearing into the tablet there are batteries available. I haven't replaced one in my A100 yet, but it's certainly old enough that I'll need to at some point. The batteries typically only last three years or so.

     

    If you are uncomfortable replacing it yourself, I'd guess a new tablet would be pretty attractive in comparison to the cost of having a technician replace it for you.
