    • Aspire 7750G power setting and display

    Hi,

     

    The display on my Acer 7750G siwtches off after 5 minutes or so, regardless of how I configure the power settings. 

     

    Any idea how to get around that?

      Does it come back on if you move the cursor or hit enter, spacebar, etc.?

      Yes!

       

      altough programmes that had been running in the background often have stopped working (particularly Mathematica)
