Hi, I have upgraded to a new ASUS GeForce GTX 750Ti 2GB PhysX CUDA card on my aspire M5641 and are now get black screen. I am running windows 7. The card worked the first time i started up but after rebooting its only black screen. When i change back to my old card the PC works fine, I have tried to update drivers ++, but nothing changes. Is the video card compatible? Any idea what’s wrong??

Hello,
What's the power of your PSU 250 or 400W?
The PCI Express x16 slot of your motherboard is V1.0 and the new graphic board is V3.0. May be the issue.

Hi,
Ok, I have 400W. So I need a new motherboard?
Thanks

i will suspect PSU too, have you connected all the power connector on your VGA?
i think that 600W is the minimum to have stable performances.

You'll also need a 6 pins PCIE power connector (required).

Hi, There is no extra power connector on my card: http://www.geeks3d.com/20140409/asus-geforce-gtx-750-gtx750-phoc-1gd5-review/
(the power of the PCI Express slot is enough)

ok, so the problem is the PCI-ex slot, old version.
