Hi, Does anyone here experiencing my issue. I have just bought an Acer Switch 10 wih 32GB of memory. WIn 8.1 of course is preinstalled. I have tried doing a bench test, wherein I ran a movie looped for hours till the battery dies or at least comes to 10%. With brightness in the middle and with headphones and volume in the middle. WIFI turned off !. I only got 4 hours !. I found somewhere here on a diff topic title, that there was an issue on 32GB Switch 10, solution might be a BIOS. I see myself as a mid level skill on tech issues, meaning I am not afraid of going into the BIOS nor updating it. Is there a new BIOS out there, better yet how do I get to the bios settings for my Switch 10 and get the version. I tried pressing f2 and f10 to no avail when it boots ups. I presss the "F" keys when I see the Acer logo, coming from a shutdown state of Win8. Hope someone here can help me ASAP as it is frustrating to know that I only get 4 hour of battery life. I already cycled the charging recharging for 3 cycles already. Thanks, Gene

    Hi ironman,

Please run the following command in command prompt, in admin mode:

    powercfg -energy -output c:\energy-report-ironman.html

Wait a bit, it will take a minute. Then it creates a .html file in your c:\

Please check the Battery Information section, compare the designed and last full charge capacity, it will tell you how powerful is your battery vs. the "factory maximum".

Mine is 96% (divde the smaller number with the higher, you will get the percentage). Mine will do some 5,5hrs with wifi internet.
