interest that Acer knows these things are not working and continue to sell merchandise that isn't working. And makes no intentions to making patches or fixing drivers to make the product we bought work, well i think you should i printed out 163 pages, here and elsewhere on other sites that sell Acer products. And under reviews there is a continuing show that there is problems well after people mentioned the problems and the systems are still being sold. And not recalled. So i would say to Acer fix the problem.

I understand your frustration, but it's not really Acers fault.Acer doesn't make the drivers. The manufacturers of the trackpads supply the drivers for their equipment.I'm sure Acer is in touch with all of them pleading for drivers that work. This problem is not isolated to Acer. All of the computer makers are in the same boat.

Actually it is their fault, when they apparently know the faults and continue to sell faulty products and don't make any attempt to fix the problem. Repair the problem. Give refunds. And not all makers are in the same boat, i bought another computer in 2007 called a Dell Inspiron1720 i paid well over $2,000 and its old and tattered, but it still works. So don't say it has something to do with other companies. Acer sells computers they don't have any idea to fix, they just think refreshing the system all the time is going to fix the problem. Well it isn't working now. Also the sound on Acer computers are another subject that isn't working and has been a longer problem, than the problem with the touchpad.
