Tablet not charging more that 5%

in 2014 Archives

Looking for some advice... my tablet is only 4/5 months old and has recently stopped charging more than 5% even when left on charge overnight ????

    Power off the tablet and connect the charger, see if this will charge more than 5%.

    If not, try a factory data reset but backup your personal data before.
    Settings/backup&reset/factory data rest
    I'm not an Acer employee.

    Thank you ...I have tried the reset which didn't help but will try turning off the tablet and charging overnight to see if that works.

    I got a refurbished Acer A1 and it arrived with a problem in the charger. Check if switching the USB cable on the charger works. I had one from an old Samsung phone that worked.
