    I am trying to play videos and slides from my V5 on my HDTV using the HDMI port. The tv is not receiving a signal. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

      Does the computer detect the second screen?
      1. Try using Different HDMI Port in TV
      2. Different HDMI Cable.
      If you are getting message like no signal you may also try reinstalling Display driver for your computer,. Cheers

      Hi,

      When you connect the TV with HDMI is it detected?, May I ask what is the product model?

      Thanks for your reply.

      The TV did not detect the computer. The model is an Aspire V5-572G-6679. Must I change the display settingsto get output to the HDMI port?
