Aspire V (573PG) Windows 8.1 Wi-Fi problems- SOLUTION MADE
Dear all,
Anyway this is my take on this very very longstanding issue.
1. The Atheros Quallcomm wifi card is pretty much useless for this model of pc.
2. I asked the service center to change to an Intel Modem and the signal is strength 5 even in my upper floors.
3. The PC is a very good machine and fast, the only flaw is the engineering decisions like the choice of modem installed.
4. Please take your machine and ask your nearest service centers to change the modem. Otherwise it is a neverending problem with no possible solution.

Its an Intel (R) Dual band Wireless modem N 7260.

Thanks.one more request. Could you post the driver version you have?
I put one of these in my wife's V5 and couldn't find a driver that worked completely correct.
