E5-572G-77BU bad performance, processor problem
So hello guys. This is my third post for today, but I'm really having troubles with my PC. So today I installed Win7 (was really hard to find drivers and stuff) and I have kinda CPU problem. I have one process called igfxEM.exe that is making my CPU crazy. Also My PC is using only 30% of the processor while playing games and I have really bad FPS.

igfxEM.exe is installed with Intel and Nvidia drivers. I would try reinstalling the Nvidia driver. You can also try disabling igfxEM.exe in msconfig/startup. It has been suggedted that it's not essential to Windows 8.1 or 7.

There's no option to disable it in the msconfig/startup.

igfxEM.exe is just Intel not nvidia.
if you can't find under msconfig, download ccleaner:
https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/portable
unzip and run ccleaner64
choose tools/startup
disable or delete the entry with igfxEM
this will prevent the automatic startup of igfxEM.

Okay. So this one is not a problem anymore. The only problem now is that I'm running games in low FPS and my processor never goes above 40%. Also CPU1, CPU3, CPU5 and CPU7 are parked.

This sounds similar to your problem.

I couldn't find a solution in this link.

Since you have DayZ could you try and see if this will increase your FPS?

Yes I know all about these tweaks, but the main problem is that processor is parking some of my cores and it's not working on full potential. It happens in all games, not only DayZ.

Nope. This software didn't work at all. I clicked to unpark them but they seemed to be parked again.

I ran it on my W7 Home Premium and unparked 3 CPUs. I checked resource monitor and all CPUs were working. I did a reboot and they are still working.I wonder why it's working in mine and not yours.

Okay. After reboot everything was fine with my CPU. There are no parked cores. But there is one problem left. CPU is running at 30% max. No matter the game or the settings it never goes higher than 30%. Tried to turn graphics to max and my processor was running at 12%.

Do you have everything in your power plan set to high performance? Could you have throttling due to heat problems?

Everything is fine in the power plan settings. And I'm sure that the laptop is not overheating. I checked the temps and everything looks fine.

I don't know where else to go other than maybe your Nvidia driver isn't perfect, run a test on your HDD, and I've seen many comments of a GeForce 840m is not good for gaming.

Ran HDD and mem test and its all good..

So... noone has any solution. Bad.

Have you tried installing any of those drivers in Compatibility mode?0
