I have Acer Aspire E1-470pg. Blue tooth will not function, drivers up to date, service on. Huh/

Considered removing the device, but wonder if doing that would worsen problem when I try to reinstall. Can't seem to find what's wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes on 8.1. Just tried using troubleshooter supposedly reinstalling drivers, but info box afterward shows all failed. Thanks for quick response btw.

Do you know which bluetooth driver you need? Did you try  the  Atheros and the Broadcom?

Go to Device Manager and uninstall the driver and it will ask if you want to delete software. Delete it and reboot.

    Then install the correct driver.
