Why so many S7 versions?

Why are there so many apparently identical versions of the S7 (and probably of the other Aspires)? To focus on only three different (how?) versions of the S7:

How exactly are these different? The specs look absolutely identical.

This is a good one. The big question is "What is the difference"? I see minor this such as Acer 3D Sonic speakers in the S7-391-9839....does that mean that the other (S7-391-9864) one just has normal speakers?

I wanted to know the same thing and finally found it. You have to look under the "Datasheet" tab on the laptops respective website.  I found the difference between the 9839/9886 and 9864. These are the high end S7 models...It seems like its 50 bucks more for HDMI not Micro HDMI and you get stereo speakers. I would bet that even the stereo speakers suck though as it is an ultrabook. I seem to think some of these differences are a typo. I doubt it truley comes with a full size HDMI port and I bet the word "Chipset" was forgotten in the description for the 9839/9886.

    Here are the descriptions:

They all have stereo speakers with the Dolby enhancement and all only have micro-HDMI. It is just bad specification editing on the website. I'm afraid the mystery of what those different models are continues.
