ACER E5-572G Touchpad problem
Hello,
I recently bought a new acer laptop. E5-572G-58KY.
I am using Windows 7, even though on the acer drivers website, you can only find windows 8 drivers for this laptop.
I managed to install most of the drivers, without the touchpad, it just doesn't work, you can click and that's it, it has no fuctions. In device manager, there is no touchpad, there is only HID-compliant Mouse.
I tried installing the windows 8 drivers for the touchpad but they dont work, it says that they installed correctly, but it says that theres no use for them as it doesnt find the hardware. I tried installing both synaptics and elantech drivers.
Help?

Still not working, i installed the driver you linked me, it installed 2 things and said ready to use, but theres nothing from synaptics that starts up with windows, i checked in startup and services, nothing from synaptics and the touchpad is still HID-Compliant Mouse

Maybe is a stupid suggestion, but you tried to press "fn" button + F7 (it'll block/unblock the touchpad) ?
