Nvidia Optimus does not switch

I'm currently using Acer Aspire V5-573G, which uses Nvidia GT750M.

Whenever I run games or graphics-intensive program such as the adobe premier pro, the program will continue to run using the Intel HD graphics and not the Nvidia driver.

I've tried changing the settings in the Nvidia control panel to use Nvidia graphics driver for all programs, but running the optimus tool will show me that the Nvidia GPU is not being used for any of the programs.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you upgraded the Nvidia to a non-Acer driver? What bios are you using?

    Try this:
Open the nVidia control panel (right click on desktop and select 'NVIDIA Control Panel') and select 'Manage 3D settings'. Select the 'Program Settings' tab. From here you can select your program. If it is not in the list, click add, navigate to it and select. You can now select nVidia GPU from option 2.

Not sure what you mean by non-acer driver.

I tried updating the nvidia driver to the latest one (344.65), problem still persists.

Should I just reinstall the intel and nvidia drivers again? Thanks for the help.
