Dear Acer,

My Acer V3-371 that I bought 5 days ago is slow after updating  BIOS from v1.05 (when I bought) to v1.08 and v1.11.

I have checked hardwares and see that:

- CPU: OK

- RAM: OK

- Wifi, Ethernet, Bluetooth: OK

- HDD: NOT OK (see the attached picture) This situation usually occurs to halt the system for a while repeatedly.

(Both of OS Win 7/8/8.1/10 Preview and MS Office softwares are installed from the iso files downloaded from Microsoft websites)

I carried it to Acer Service Center, but they could not find out any problem with HDD and missed to check the compatibility of BIOS with HDD.

Poor !!!

Phan Tung.

P/S: Every things are OK with v1.05. How could I do?

How long will you launch a new version of BIOS to fix this issue?

Check device manager for any problem, exclemation mark or yellow mark.

You can try resetting the bios to default settings,go into bios, hit F9, save and exit. Reflash to previous bios.

Instead of showing us the diagram of the overall usage you should show the process what is causing this behavior. Your device is slow because there is a process that writes many data to disk.

    Hi Silizium,

This problem occured after I installed Os (with/without installed drivers). There was no softwares more.

I checked all processes, no one used overrun.

This case appeared once access to read/write data from/into HDD.

    Thanks.

I tried, but It failed again.

I decided to change another HDD, it became normal
