Issue with Liquid E3 App Storage

Hi all, me again!

The storage on my Liquid E3 is perpetually giving me grief.

I've managed to sort out the issues with getting the phone to save pictures straight to the SD card, however I'm having a nightmare with apps now.

Every time I try to download an app it tells me that there's no room left on the internal storage (which there isn't) but I have 12gb free on the SD Card. I transferred a lot of the apps over to the SD from the internal storage to make room on the internal storage but it's still not happening. It's also affecting me downloading updates for the apps i already have!

Please help!

    Hi,

    Sounds familiar ....

    You have 2 options:

    - remove some apps or just remove the app you want to update and then install it again. Removing the app frees some storage area and the install will jump to the latest version. But you will stay close to the 1GB limit.

    - increase the storage area for your apps. I assume you have an SD card installed so you don't need that much internal storage for storing photo's and other stuff. So you can decrease the internal storage and increase the partition where the apps go. Look on the Frandroid forum for more details - the 'FR' in frandroid stands for 'French' so I hope you have some knowledge of Voltaire's language ...

Have you gone in to settings -----storage & then select SD card for the preferred storage location?

I suspect that this is the same issue with the way in which storage is partitioned for the E2 and for which there is a massive thread on.
