Various problems after factory restore (Acer E5-551-T0JN)

Hello, I'm experiencing a few difficulties after performing a reset.

First, I'd like to mention (incase it gives clues to what's going on) that I had to system restore about 8 hours after getting started with my laptop. I became locked out of limited user accounts mysteriously which ultimately resulted in that.

Now, I was having issues with this blurry text which I thought was a result of a driver update, so after rolling them back I realize it's persistent. So I tinkered for a while then decided i'd save time by just doing a factory reset and reinstalling my applications. That's where the more concerning issues came in. First thing I noticed was alt+f10 does nothing, I reset my laptop around 5 times and could not get that key combination to bring forth the almighty recovery options. Luckily I had made a usb copy of it. Using that, I performed what claimed to be a successful restore, but soon after AEO (I coudln't even close out of acer portal when that popped up) framework was crashing repetedly and randomly until I uninstalled the Acer portal. After updating I went to create a fresh restore point, and noted that now what I presume is was the recovery partition is "Missing".  It lists " Acer (C:\) (system), Push button Reset, and Acer (C:\) (Missing)".

Also, when trying to find the manual for the laptop I have (Acer E5-551G-T0JN), nothing comes up anymore. It was there about a week ago, now says service not available.

TL;DR

Missing recovery partition

Blurry text (especially noticable when stopping a scroll)

Crashing applications

Regret

about ALT+F10 you must check if D2D option is enabled on BIOS.

    About blurry text, check this:

    About recovery missing:

press windows key logo + X

    select Disk Management

please post a screenshot of disk management

    I'm not an Acer employee.

I've pretty much surrendered on the blurry font. Nothing helps, but I think it's an issue with IE 11. I don't remember IE being so noticable before, but after downloading Chrome I don't get the issue when scrolling, albiet scrolling isn't as smooth in Chrome. I thought I'd enabled that, but now that I think about it.. I might have enabled F12 boot options.

Thanks, this has put to bed most of my concerns.

Here's a screenshot of Disk management and System properties. According to Diskmanagement it's there and healthy, but system properties says it's missing.

    Hi godwin:

About the issue of [AOP], I suggest you refer to steps below:

    1. Go to [Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features] and uninstall [Acer Portal] and [AOP Framework].
    2. Please download and install [Acer Portal] on Windows PC from Acer BYOC Apps website.

Acer BYOC Apps download website: https://www.cloud.acer.com/downloads

    1. Make sure both [Acer Portal] and [AOP Framework] are in [Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features], then launch [Acer Portal] shortcut on the desktop to use.

    Hope it helps
