Acer Iconia Freezing

My Iconia has just started freezing up on me.  I can't get a factory reset as it just freezes before I can click the start to reset button.

It started a couple of days ago when I clicked it to go to sleep, it closed down instead.  When it goes into sleep mode by itself, it now closes down.

I have managed to uninstall all the apps that I have installed over the last few months.  That hasn't worked.

So I went to do a factory reset, but it froze, now when I turn it on it's frozen on the first screen "Acer explore beyong the limits"

It is (or should be) protected by AVG and McAfee.

Is there anyway I can unfreeze it so I can get a factory reset done?

Thanks for any help.

Probably you have a bad ram stick or some HDD issue.

    what's your Iconia model?

Hi IronFly, thanks for replying. Have now somehow fixed the problem (I think!). I managed to do another factory reset before it froze, in fact I had to do a few to get to the Welcome screen, as it kept freezing. When I was able, I emptied the cache. Think this could have been my problem. So far, it appears okay. Appreciate your help!

I think you have some hardware issue, if is still in warranty, contact your Acer support service.
