Hello. In Romania, many of the owners have problems with dead pixels especially in the bottom of display(right corner).

Does anyone have this problem or is something wrong with the Romanian provider(Orange)?

Thanks!

Hey! I'm from RO (Orange carrier), is simple that we talk in english because is an international forum and I want that everybody understand this.

I have a clean display (yet), mine has less than a month, but has a lot of other issues...

I am sure that the Orange RO carrier has no fault for the display problems and dead pixels - this is a manufacture issue, so Acer has the fault here.

In the previous topics I asked why in other countries the IPS display is blue and in ROMANIA is green. So the answer was that ORANGE ROMANIA has sold a low quality range device.

In Europe or Asia this phone works perfect! Here, the device has a lot of WRONG issues from what we are expected from the phone specifications. More further .. why ORANGE RO has changed the Image Version of the OS ?

Many many questions and issues.. and no one from Acer give us an answer.

Hi i also own an Acer S500(Orange RO) with quite a lot stuck pixels is the lower right bottom corner. And a few in the upper right corner. My guess is that maybe the screws in that area are too tight because if you put pressure on the screen somewhere else will look the same but when you remove the pressure the pixels will disappear.

@mihaiconst: If you can put here a link to sustain your affirmation about the other type of screen...

I saw only the green screen to Acer s500

the display shadow coloue it's a mistery for me too.

I couldn't find an user from other country (especially not East European) to prove me all the rumors from the internet forums.

U can find some related topic about the screen colour here: http://www.gsmarena.com/acer_cloudmobile_s500-reviews-4542p2.php

    - here u'll find something useful which can sustain my & others affirmation from the Ceremonial Video when Acer was released, they say that in the video and pictures the display is blue.

I hope that someone could break out this mistery .. From what I know, CloudMobile display use the RGB colours (red, green and blue) this is not affecting the shadow when the phone sleeps.

maybe u can share ur opinion about this.

by the way: where u from?

    thanks!
